Pilates & The Acupuncture Meridians FREE Community Class!
Join us for an introduction to the benefits of pilates and acupuncture, and how these modalities can work together to improve overall health and a sense of well-being. Pilates and acupuncture can provide profound benefits to people who suffer from back pain, joint pain, weakness, previous injury, scoliosis, menstrual pain, and even stress-related illnesses, such as IBS and insomnia. Participants will begin with an introduction to pilates mat exercises with master pilates instructor, Jolette Samuelson, who has designed a 30-minute session designed to activate and experience the core muscles. Then we invite you to lie back, relax, and allow licensed acupuncturist, Trace Albrecht to take you through a restorative journey of the deep acupuncture meridians using guided imagery. Rather than performing acupuncture in the group setting, we will simply apply a drop of essential oil to the master point of the acupuncture meridian we will be highlighting. *Please dress in comfortable exercise clothing.
